Halloween on the Water

Most Halloween plans mean a crowded bar or a living room full of candy wrappers. The Boos Cruise takes you out on Sarasota Bay instead. You leave in daylight, cruise into the sunset (about 6:50 PM in late October), and come back to the dock under the city lights as the night gets properly spooky.

The tiki roof keeps everyone covered, the music is playing, and the only dress code is costumes on, shoes off.

  • Sunset to spooky. Golden hour, the sunset and the first stars, all in one trip.
  • A champagne toast at sunset. It’s included on both nights.
  • A costume contest. The best costume wins a Barefoot Tiki shirt. Group costumes count, and they usually win.
  • Bring your own drinks. Pack a cooler with your favorite drinks and Halloween treats.
  • A restroom on board. It’s a two-hour trip, so this matters.
  • Room to spread out. The boat carries no more than 16 guests.

Choose Your Night

Friday, October 30: Public Boos Cruise

5:45 PM to about 7:45 PM 路 $89 per person 路 champagne toast at sunset

Come on your own, as a couple or with a few friends, and share the boat with other guests in costume. We raise a champagne toast as the sun goes down, and the costume contest is open to everyone on board. There’s room for 16 guests, so tickets are limited.

Saturday, October 31: Private Halloween Night Charter

5:45 PM to about 7:45 PM 路 $1,000 for the whole boat 路 up to 16 guests 路 champagne toast at sunset

Have Barefoot Tiki to yourselves on Halloween night. It’s the one to book for a Halloween birthday, a costume party with friends or a family group. We’ll raise a champagne toast at sunset, and the best costume in your group wins a Barefoot Tiki shirt. There’s one boat, so once Saturday is booked, it’s gone.

What to Bring

  • Your costume. Pick something you can sit down and move around in on a boat. Skip long trains, stilts and anything that would blow away in a breeze.
  • Drinks and snacks. BYOB for guests 21+. Cans and plastic are better than glass.
  • A light layer. Late-October evenings on the water can feel cool once the sun goes down.
  • Your phone. Costumes in front of a sunset make great photos.
  • Flat shoes, or none. Shoes come off on board anyway.
