Where do Barefoot Tiki Tours depart?
Our cruises depart from the docks at 1101 10th St., Sarasota, with convenient access for guests staying near Sarasota, Siesta Key, Lido Key, and Longboat Key. Your booking confirmation will include the exact meeting details.
What should we bring on board?
Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a hat, and anything else youโd want for time on the water. Barefoot Tiki is BYOB and guests are welcome to bring their favorite beverages and snacks that they wish to enjoy while onboard. We also recommend bringing your phone or camera so you can capture the views, wildlife, and sunset moments.
Are your tiki cruises private or shared?
We offer memorable private group outings as well as select shared experiences, depending on the cruise you book. If youโre planning a celebration or want the boat to yourselves, private charters are a great fit.
Can we bring our own drinks and food?
Barefoot Tiki is BYOB, so guests over 21 are welcome to bring whatever beverages that they wish to enjoy while onboard. We have 3 coolers and provide ice and bottled waters. Guests can feel free to bring snacks and food that they want as well.
Is Barefoot Tiki USCG Certified?
Yes, as is required for any vessel carrying more than 6 passengers, our tiki boat is certified by the USCG and is equipped with all of the necessary safety equipment.
How many passengers?
Our custom tiki boat is USCG approved for up to 16 passengers.
Can dogs cruise?
We love dogs and welcome well behaved dogs on any of our private charters
Will we see dolphins?
Sarasota Bay is home to many dolphins and depending on the time of day and conditions, there is a very good chance that we will have an opportunity to see them.
Can we swim?
The Sandbar Fun and Private Charters are the perfect chance to go for a swim and enjoy the crystal clear and warm waters of Sarasota Bay
Is There a Restroom Onboard?
Yes, there is a restroom onboard for the convenience of our guests.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Guest safety always comes first. If weather conditions are unsafe for boating, weโll communicate your options as quickly as possible, which may include rescheduling based on availability.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Guests will receive a full refund or credit for another tour if cancelled 5 days prior to your scheduled tour. In the case of cancellation by the operator due to unforeseen circumstance a full refund will be given. Refunds will not be issued for any other reason.

There is ample free parking in the lot adjacent to the 10th Street dock
What if it rains?
Our cruises operate rain or shine and there is plenty of protection from the typical passing Florida rain shower under the tiki roof. As safety is our primary objective we will make prudent scheduling decisions accordingly.
Is smoking permitted on board?
For safety reasons, smoking is not permitted
