Lido Key at Sunset, From the Water
Lido Key is the barrier island you reach by crossing the John Ringling Causeway from downtown Sarasota, with St. Armands Circle at its center and Lido Beach along the Gulf. Most visitors only see it from the sand. From the water it looks different: mangrove shoreline around South Lido, and Big Pass and New Pass, the channels that link Sarasota Bay to the Gulf on either side of the key.
Our tiki boat leaves from 1101 10th Street in Sarasota and carries up to 16 guests. Bring your own food and drinks, and we supply coolers, ice and bottled water. If there is a part of the bay you would like to see, tell us when you book.
Mangroves and Big Pass
South Lido Park, also called Ted Sperling Park, sits at the southwest tip of the key, surrounded by the Gulf, Big Pass, Sarasota Bay and Bushy Bayou. It is one of the best spots on the island for mangrove shoreline and birdlife.
St. Armands Circle
The Circle is the island’s shopping and dining hub, with restaurants, boutiques and ice cream shops a short distance from Lido Beach. It is easy to build an early dinner or an after-cruise stroll around your sunset departure.

Dolphins on calm evenings
Sarasota Bay is home to a well-known resident dolphin community, and calm evening conditions often make for good sightings. Wildlife can never be guaranteed, but we keep watch the whole way.

Barefoot Tiki Tours departs from 1101 10th Street in Sarasota. Guests staying on Lido Key or near St. Armands Circle can reach the dock by car or rideshare.
Can I plan dinner at St. Armands Circle around the cruise?
Yes. Sunset times change through the year, so check your departure time before you book a dinner reservation.
Is the cruise private or shared?
Both options exist. A private sunset charter reserves the whole boat for your group, and public sunset cruises are sold per person. Use the buttons above to see current options.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes. Cruises are BYOB, guests 21 and over may bring alcohol, and we provide coolers, ice and bottled water.
How many guests fit on board?
Up to 16 passengers, which is the USCG-certified capacity of our boat. There is a restroom on board.
Will we see dolphins near Lido Key?
Dolphin sightings are common in Sarasota Bay, but wildlife can never be guaranteed.
